Impermanence
The first of eight one-night-only exhibitions, on March 1st, 2024 from 5:00—9:30 PM PST, during the Abbot Kinney First Fridays as part of the Forecast Foundation residency with The Abbot Visionary Club located at 1421 Abbot Kinney Boulevard in Venice, California. ‘Impermanence’ is curated by Forecast Founding Member Emily Colvin in order to, “honor and challenge the temporality of shared present-futures.”
Align the rhythm of your pulse
to the passing of each second.
The future begins now. And now. And now again. It waits for you in every approaching breath. Bending time in order to experience the future is possible by fully embracing the fleeting impermanence of the present. The constant flow of time is an eliminatory gift, freeing the receiver from the commitment of permanence and offering variable trajectories towards interminable potential futures.
Please join us in celebrating the delicacy of coexistence – seducing awakeness beyond visual/physical first layers with multisensory atmospheric explorations into a hyper-climax of life itself.

Pleased to announce I’ll be participating in a project that designer Vivian Vette has invited me and others to re-appropriate her latest line of handbags. The bags are vintage inspired for the magically inclined with a modern vibe. Each piece is handcrafted in Downtown Los Angeles.
My relationship with fashion and art have always been hand in hand. Wearable art was how I established myself as an artist amongst my peers in grade school. A lot of parents were buying their kids the latest fashions and backpacks and shoes. My mother encouraged hand-me-downs and we selected our clothes from unique resources. Rebuilding many garments and digging through the thrift stores in my home town of Oceanside and Carlsbad, beach cities just had the coolest stuff. I was always attracted to shiny, beaded, embroidered textiles, and anything with crazy handles, unique silhouettes, and worn out leathers. Don't get me started on shoes. I have created a trip tic with the concept of a fall California with warm gold tones and a rich emerald glow. Artistic luxury is having that one unique piece that separates you from the others.

Projects at Large
Open Studio June 23, 2018
Very excited to announce the first Projects at Large, Open Studio. The last six months have been very productive in the new studio and I'd like to open the doors to allow everyone to come and see what I have been creating. Reflecting on the year so far, I have been on the cover of DOWNTOWN NEWS with Allison Agsten , participating in multiple shows at Gallery 1162, and was the guest artist at the Empire Polo Field in Indio, Ca. for the 7th year of Rhythm Wine & Brews. What a time to be alive. I have an ongoing glass collection that has taken many new forms including layers that are exposing the material like never before as well as the Pareidolia series and several collaborations. I graciously invite you Saturday, June 23rd from 7-11 pm. Listen to tunes by DJLeesure, foodies by Cantalini's, and a hosted bar with the one and only Rusty ROOFTOP. Come one, come all.
Location:
801 E. 7TH ST. Los Angeles. Ca 90021
7-11 pm
Please note: The location of the studio is in Skid Row. There will be complimentary gated parking on site. The entrance is on TOWNE (towards the rear of the building). A parking tenant will greet you and then direct you to the loading dock. An elevator attendant will then escort you to the studio on the third floor. Please e-mail if further information needed.
Hey everyone, great news! I have been invited to participate in this year’s Rhythm Wine and Brews Experience Festival. I have the opportunity to share and collaborate with an artist that for the first time has incorporated my entire glass collection into the installation. Truly a landmark in the development of my art ventures!!! Please read the info and check out their awesome website with all the fun information of other artists, and vendors as well as tickets and camping under the stars in Indio, Ca on the Empire Polo Fields.
Cheers!!
